San Elijo Hills is an exclusive, master-planned community located eight miles east of the ocean in the rolling hills of San Marcos. Vine & Tap’s exceptional drinks selection can be enjoyed alongside an eclectic array of small plates, flatbreads, artisanal sandwiches, cheese boards, salads, and signature mac and cheese topped with gourmet toppings. Community events take place throughout the year, with highlights including an Easter Egg Hunt, Independence Day Celebration, Oktoberfest, Tree Lighting Ceremony, and Concerts in the Square. 
 
These events take place in either the town square or the events plaza at 19-acre San Elijo Park. San Elijo Park’s many amenities include a dog park, horseshoe court, soccer field, two baseball diamonds, and a water spray play area for kids. Most trailheads for the community’s 18-mile network of hiking, biking, and horseback riding trails are accessible through San Elijo Park. The 200-acre Double Peak Park features a rugged natural landscape with trails ascending to the highest point in North San Diego County. From this summit, hikers enjoy mesmerizing views across San Marcos to the Pacific Ocean.
